Deep Dive: Washington State Jewish Archives

Join us for an open house of the Washington State Jewish Archives (WSJA) and a celebration of 50 years of partnership between the University of Washington Libraries and the Washington State Jewish Historical Society (WSJHS).

The WSJA is a collaboration between the WSJHS and the UW Libraries Special Collections. Together, the two organizations collect and preserve an extensive collection reflecting the unique Jewish community in the far West.

From personal photos and scrapbooks to business records and musical scores, the archives document the Jewish experience in Washington State. View treasures from the Washington State Jewish Archives and hear stories about how the collection is vital to research and personal discovery for campus and community users.

Special Collections and WSJHS staff will be available to answer questions. Light refreshments will be served.

Discover something new about Washington State and the Jewish experience! Join us to explore the collection.

Register today -- space is limited.
